BOERGER Rotary Lobe Pumps are self-priming, valveless, positive displacement pumps. Two synchronized rotors rotating against each other build chambers towards the pump casing. At the suction side the open chambers fill with the conveyed product. The product is displaced in the direction of the volume flow into the discharge side. The capacity is speed related and the flow is reversible. At standstill the rotors form and almost perfect seal.

BOERGER Multi Chopper

The second generation Multichopper incorporates technical design improvements. Knife tension to the plate is adjustable from the outside of the aggregate, a central shaft clamp construction keeps the assembly axially aligned. Both sides of the screen plate are equipped with tri-blades, enabling six macerating cuts per rotation. The screen plate is in a radial fixed position and is held in place between the two knifes along the shaft. The shaft seal is furnished with a proven Boerger mechanical seal with quench and control. The Multichopper incorporates Boerger known maintenance friendly design. By opening the clamped cover, all rotating parts can be maintained and / or replaced without the need of any special tools. The side setup of the motor / reducer configuration enables easy movement of the hinged cover including all shaft mounted devices.

Function of the Boerger Multichopper: The fluid / solid mixture flows from the bottom to the top of the macerator. Heavy solids accumulate in the lower compartment of the aggregate and can easily be removed through the side mounted cleaning port. Solids flowing with the fluid penetrate the screen plate and the double knife action ensures an excellent macerating results.

BOERGER Multi Crusher

The Multicrusher is an effective, widly applicable macerating unit. The independently working Twin Shaft Grinder is based on the proven desing of the Boerger Rotary Lobe Pump.

Instead of rotating lobes there are blade and cutter configuartions installed in the Multicrusher. The relative rotation speed of the two shafts ensures an optimalized macerating effect and prevents stringy material from wrapping around the blades and cutters.

The Quick Release Cover allows easy and direct access to all fluid wetted parts.
