PURAFIL odor applications eliminate odorous gases from sewage collection and processing operations.

ESD DRY SCRUBBING MEDIA

To eliminate odorous gases, use one of the following PURAFIL dry-scrubbing media with the drum scrubber, tub scrubber system, deep bed scrubber, manhole scrubber, and/or vessel scrubbers.

ODORCARB™

Odorcarb™ is the primary media choice for removal of hydrogen sulfide. Odorcarb™ is landfill disposable and is Class 2 in UL Classification. Class 2 media, when clean, burn moderately when attacked by flame or emit moderate amounts of smoke, or both.

ODORMIX™

Odormix™ is used for a broad spectrum control of odors. Odormix™ is used for mercaptans, amines, aldehydes, organics, and sulfur dioxide. Odormix™ is landfill disposable and is Class 1 in UL Classification. Class 1 media, when clean, do not contribute fuel when attacked by flame and which emit only negligible amounts of smoke.

DRUM SCRUBBER

Use: Pump Stations, Lift Stations, Wet Wells

The Drum Scrubber is sized for airflows up to 500 cfm and is ideal for low contaminant load applications. The Drum Scrubber houses multiple layers of Purafil ESD media for complete odor control.

DEEP BED SCRUBBER

Use: Small Headworks, Large Pump Stations, in Screening Rooms, and at the discharge of biofilters.

The Deep Bed Scrubber is sized for airflows from 500 to 20,000 CFM and removes high concentrations of odors in wastewater operations.

MANHOLE SCRUBBER

Constructed of stainless steel, the MOLE Manhole Scrubber removes odors from street-level sewer manholes. Odors enter the MOLE through the bottom of the unit and flow upwards through two vertically stacked disposable modules containing Odormix™ media.
