The Archimedean Screw is specifically designed for capacities up to 5500l/s. It can handle solids-laden liquid without the danger of blockage and without the need for intake screens. It operates at slow speeds of 10 - 100 rpm which prevent premature wear & tear and which minimise maintenance costs. This highly efficient and economical pump is not damaged by dry running and is known for its high operational safety.
